In August 2019, WWE announced that its tertiary weekly program WWE NXT would return to USA Network on September 18, 2019, airing on Wednesday nights in a two-hour live format. Aug 17, 2019 · WWE is reportedly keen to stay one step ahead of AEW and have NXT debut on USA a week or two before AEW debuts on TNT, which is scheduled for October 2. The reason USA Network was chosen is simply that they can schedule the broadcast better, on FOX there would be confliction between other sporting events. Jun 13, 2020 · Paul Heyman being removed from WWE RAW has made USA Network very unhappy. While this may not mean any changes soon, it will be interesting to see if it affects the booking.
WWE NXT on the USA Network will initially air live for one hour show for the first weeks’ episode (18 September & 25 September). NXT will move to USA from September this year NXT will start to air its weekly episodes on USA network from 18 September on every Wednesday from 8 PM-10 PM ET.
