Won't Boot, Says GPU driver is out of date It's a r9 290x which noted is a fairly old card, but I am using the latest driver for 8.1. Were I using Windows 10 there would be a newer driver but alas I'm stuck with the one I'm using.

The current driver is driver 353.3 which GeForce Experience is telling me is "up to date." However, when I play arkham knight, I receive a warning that I am using an out of date driver and should update etc etc I should note, the game plays fine. Much better than before the patch. The only way to know for sure whether a driver is out of date is to compare the version of the driver on your computer with the latest version of the driver on the hardware manufacturer's website. Don't trust a program to do that for you. The mere fact that a newer driver is available does not necessarily mean that you should install it. (problem was instead of Twitch it had been selected to Mixer) apparently if you have a service that does not match the Stream Key then it bring up the “out of date driver error” when you press “go live”.
