Default search engine - won't change when trying to watch a tv program online some programs were downloaded (which I didn't know about) IE gave me the option to disallow the change in search engine that these programs bought about - searchonme search option - but Google Chrome didn't give me this option.

I have tried the advised method of the chrome cleanup tool, reset chrome settings, remove history and cache. I still have Cleanserp.net as default search engine and the droplist next to it which normally displays remove etc. will not function.
