ICMP requests (ping) are rather small. If there's intermittent connectivity, the ping command won't likely find it unless you execute ping 8.8.8.8 -t to ping indefinitely until you stop it. It may also be helpful to checking your LAN cables to make sure that they aren't wrapped around any power cables. Jan 18, 2016 · Clicking browse within hamachi does not work. I consider that a bug. Using a desktop shortcut to the network location does work. I have noticed that everything with exception of hamachi alt-click browse when connecting using my mobile hotpot. Using the cafe's internet I can only ping with IPv4 and can't brouse the network location. I am using the Freebsd 5.4 as the proxy server when I am trying to ping through the proxy as gateway there is no response. When I try traceroute it ends in the proxy server. Everything was working with my old DNS server but something with the setting on the new BIND9 server must be wrong and I cannot figure out what. Dec 15, 2018 · Odd thing is that I am able to PING the Linux servers and I can access their Apache pages via a web browser but cannot see them on the network. My Windows 7 laptop can see the network and all drives no problem, and as a Windows 8.1 device my (now windows 10) laptop could see and connect. I have disabled the windows firewall but that did nothing.
