Using a browser to connect to it via BufalloNAS.com works, so I don't think it's my NAS. I love my LinkStation (thanks, Buffalo!), and I love having easy access to it outside of my network via this app. Keep in mind that it connects to your NAS through its Web Access portal, so make sure to configure your NAS for that.
